Why pilots should not wear polarized lenses for flying
Polarized lenses are not recommended for GA aviation because the filter in them makes the wearer see patterning on toughened aircraft windscreens that reduces the clarity of their vision through the screen.
Wearing polarized lenses also make it difficult to view LCD displays and therefore our non-polarized Solarclips are also suitable for yacht sailors and other people who need to refer frequently to LCD instrumentation without difficulty.
