Delivery of orders, exchanges and returns 

Here we explain how and when we will deliver your order, how much postage and packing will cost and how we handle exchange or return of products

How promptly will my order be despatched?

On Monday to Friday, we despatch on the same day all orders received by 2:00 pm. The majority of our customers within the UK receive their order the next working day.

All UK orders for clip on sunglasses are sent by First Class Post. International orders are sent by Airmail. Exchanges, where requested, will be sent by second class post.

We do not despatch on weekends or Bank Holidays, nor does Royal Mail deliver goods on Bank Holidays.

How much does post and packaging cost?

Post and packing of orders within the UK and Europe is charged at £2.95.

This covers the cost of despatching one pair of clip on sunglasses (by first class post if within the UK).

Postage for larger quantities of sunglasses will vary accordingly. This will be itemised as “Postage” on your PayPal receipt.

Do you deliver to all countries?

We currently deliver regularly to customers in 27 different countries worldwide, including all of the UK and Europe, Australia and the Far East.

Please note that we do not currently deliver to the US or Canada.

International delivery supplement for all orders outside Europe

For orders sent outside Europe there is a delivery supplement of £3.99 to cover the additional cost of Airmail. This cost is also payable where an exchange is requested.

We can only despatch orders to destinations outside Europe after receiving your delivery supplement.

How long will my order take to arrive?

If you live in mainland UK you will normally receive your order in the post on the next working day, though this is dependent on the efficiency of Royal Mail which can be subject to delays, particularly in severe weather.

Royal Mail estimate that delivery of Airmail Small Packets to Western Europe takes 3 days after despatch, to Eastern Europe takes 5 days and to countries outside Europe takes 7 days. These are estimates only and should be used as an approximate guide. Please note that Airmail is not trackable.

If you prefer to pay extra for a tracked service, please contact us immediately after placing your order and we will let you know the cost of alternative delivery services to your country.

Are any local taxes payable on my order?

If you are within the UK or in a country in the EU, you will not have to pay tax on your order.

If you are ordering from outside the European Union, you may have to pay local taxes on the package when it arrives in your country.

Can I exchange my sunglasses for a different size or shape?

If you bought the wrong size or shape, you can, if you prefer, return the clip ons to exchange them for a different size/shape.

For destinations within Europe we will send out one exchange without charging additional postage. Second class post will be used for sending exchanges.

For exchanges of clip on sunglasses outside Europe, we will charge additional postage at cost.

What is your Returns policy?

If you are not satisfied with your sunglasses, you may return them to us within 14 days of receipt for a refund, or exchange if you prefer. We deduct the “Postage” cost stated on your PayPal receipt to cover the costs we have incurred in sending your order.

Please include a copy of your original invoice.

We can only process your refund when the goods have been physically returned to us. We will process your refund within 7 days of us receiving your returned goods and will email you to inform you. Refunds can only be credited to the card that was used for the original purchase.

To comply with a refund, any returned clip-ons and cases must be in their original condition with any labels still attached. Eyewear Accessories cannot be held responsible for returned items lost or damaged whilst in transit, so you may prefer to send them by Royal Mail Signed For delivery, which provides you with compensation in case of loss or damage.

If you are returning the clip-ons because they were faulty on arrival, please inform us by email within 7 days of receipt. When returning the faulty goods, please include a copy of the original invoice and a clear description of the fault.

Please note that Eyewear Accessories will not accept responsibility for any damage to clip on sunglasses or cases or to the wearer’s prescription glasses if this occurs as a result of improper use or care. Please refer to Clipons care for advice.
